story of my life...

"When someone walks out of your life, let them. There’s no use in wasting your time on people that leave you. What you make of yourself and your future is no longer tied to them. Yeah, you may miss them, but remember that you weren’t the first one to give up."

My boyfriend broke up with me yesterday for no reason, and I'm having trouble getting over it.  I was supposed to get a place with him, get married have a kid. Well I wasn't supposed to but he led me to believe that, we talked about it on a daily basis. It hurts, so much. My stomach is churning with disbelief. But I guess thats the first part of moving on. I'll be enjoying the rest of the week depressed. I just feel like a fool, i don't know how to cope. I'll be fine, I just need some time. I know everybodys been through the first week, or couple of weeks or even months of heartache. What are ways that made your heartache a lil less achy?

  1. My heart hurts for you! But this is a process that the heart must go through, you lost someone you love and its unfortunately going to hurt. Trust me when I type this it becomes easier daily and after awhile you will start to move on. However, this process depends on you and your willingness to take care of yourself. It's okay to be sad, upset, pissed, hurt, and any other yucky feelings, however, the key is to NOT let those feelings consume you for long. After awhile pick yourself up dust yourself off and do what is necessary for you to be comfortable in where you are in life without him or any other man. Once you've spent sometime on you mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically you can be free enough to love again. Key is to take your time and feel your way through this process and DO NOT rush your heart...it will know when its ready! Hope this helped, I wish you the best :)

  2. that makes so much sense , thank you . God bless you (=

  3. Girl, I've been throught that same situation before. First off let me say I hate to hear that you're going through this break up. Sounds like he kind of surprised you with this whole thing which is the worst way to break up. I had a break up after a four year relationship and some of the ways I coped was to get out of the house, don't isolate your self by staying in for long periods of time. Put away anything he gave you pictures, bears etc and put them up,If you're not ready to throw stuff out yet. Listen to music and write about the ordeal. Sometimes seeing things on paper helps process your feelings.
Hope this helps! Things will get better trust me :)

  4. its getting better , thank you!
